This is the unique original Gouache painting by Severino Baraldi.

King Kamrasi was determined to put every obstacle in Baker's way. On one occasion he told Baker that he could continue with his journey only if he left his wife behind.

Drawing his revolver Baker pointed it at the king and demanded that he withdraw his objection. The king had no alternative but to agree.

This is the original artwork for the illustration that appeared on p30 of Look and Learn issue no 1040 (13 February 1982).
