Action packed adventure in the grand style. A Sword for the Stadtholder was a series that was published in Look and Learn magazine in 1973.

Young Dirk van Dorp fights for Prince William of Orange during Netherlands' revolt against Spanish rule. The original art is exquisitely detailed pen and ink work by Cecil Doughty who excelled in historical storytelling.

Please note art boards have been cut between panels (possibly for posting to the publisher) and have been rejoined using a card reinforcement on the reverse. Published 1st September 1973 in Look and Learn #607.
