This is the unique original Gouache painting by Ken Petts.

Edward VII's long wait. Prince Edward married the Danish Princess, Alexandra (top left). The Marquess of Salisbury (top right) was Prime Minister when Edward became King. Initially Edward VII was coolly received by the Parisians, but they soon warmed to him and his Queen.

Original artwork for the illustrations on p29 of Look and Learn issue no. 1022 (10 October 1981). All three panels are pasted onto the backing board.
